Q - What is FA 118?
A - FA 118 is the room number of the Recital Hall in the UMBC Fine Arts Building. It is where musicians gather, thus it seemed a suitable name for this site.

Q - What is "Recital Prep"/"Forum?"
A - Recital Prep is a class that all music students have to take. The exact number of required semesters varies by concentration. It's a once a week gathering in the Recital Hall (FA 118) where anyone is allowed to go up on stage and play something they've been working on. Announcements are often made as well. Once a month there is an Open Recital when there would be a forum, and it is basically a more formal version of forum.
